Book Description

This resource offers a modular, instructor-focused toolkit for designing aligned, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. Developed for postsecondary educators, it supports intentional course and lesson planning through four focused “Tool Packs” that can be explored in any order. Each pack addresses a common teaching design challenge: clarifying learning targets, integrating multiple domains of learning (cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and social), designing in ways that reflect how students think and act, and building coherence across time.

The resource avoids rigid taxonomies or prescriptive methods. Instead, it invites instructors to explore short, actionable tools that reflect the complexity of real classrooms—whether you’re planning a single lesson or refreshing an entire course.
