I thought my soul yearned for love.<\/p>\n

A heaven-sent \u2014 deeply felt \u2014 sensation.<\/p>\n

I thought I yearned for you,<\/p>\n

Someone to elevate my being at its core.<\/p>\n

But love is not the word for what I need.<\/p>\n

It is not a feeling so charged with expectation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Love for another, although tender and meaningful<\/p>\n

It is exhausted, exploited, and overwritten.<\/p>\n

Idealized, gutted, and erased of all its magic.<\/p>\n

A Love so poisoned will not satisfy my need for expression<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And Joy! A joy achieved through the free autonomous eruption<\/p>\n

I find in music \u2013 dance \u2013 art. The erratic flow of creation.<\/p>\n

The physical manifestation of the fundamental<\/p>\n

Passion seen in humanity,<\/p>\n

Found in self realization, and<\/p>\n
